Had been hearing about this place and finally was able to experience it. GREAT SERVICE!! Great food!! A bit “rustic” but that just added to the charm of it all. I literally felt like I was sharing dinner with old friends in someones grandmothers kitchen! Serving are substantial and the New England Clam Chowder was divine!! Thick, RICH and creamy with clam i. Every bite, I kid you not! We shared the White spinach pizza and we both thought it was wonderful. Great crust, and SO filling. We ordered the large and after eating the soup, we were barely able to eat 3 pieces between us. Friday 6:30 pm it was busy but we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Highly recommend “R Place!”

Have lived here quite a while and finally tried dinner at R-Place. I had the lasagna, portion great, comes with 2 lg. Meatballs and garlic bread sticks. Marinara/meat sauce a tiny bit on sweet side but very delicious. Asked for lots of cheese and boy did I get it!! Yea! Meatballs were delicious also. They have beer and wine & sangrias as well as usual beverages. If you are not driving, the half carafe of wine is the best deal. Good menu with great variety, great homemade comfort food at a reasonable price all cooked to order. Ask about daily specials and they have a senior citizen's menu too. Cannot wait to try other items like fried green tomatoes, liver & onions, calzones... Staff friendly, attentive, helpful and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!! What a gem!! Meghan was great!! Older place and only open M-F till 8pm! Don't know weekend hours. See pix! I highly recommend R- Place Eatery!!!

Great service and great food for the price is not expensive 3 pancakes are 4.99 and are pretty big. The chocolate milk is 3.37 this is the price of the big one. If you're looking for a big inexpensive breakfast this is the place 👍👍👍

My family began to visit R Eatery about 4 to 5 months ago and have gone on several occasions. I am yet to have a bad, or even a mildly ok meal. Burgers great. Pizza outstanding. Wings terrific. All other meals eaten by my wife along the seafood line were great! This is now our go to restaurant. Family owned and operated.

Service and sweet tea were very good. The mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes and the meatloaf was institutional and cold in the middle. A one and done for us. Looked to be very popular with the older crowd.

Was told by the old trucker's this place was a unicorn. I have eaten at dinners in every part of the country. Hands down drivers this place wins!!

Went here to pick up a delivery and the lady at the register had a nasty attitude towards me all because the delivery had been sitting there an hour that's not my fault other drivers canceled it and I just happen to get the ping and rushed to get it as I always do with all my deliverys! But this lady has no business working in a restaurant where u r suppose to b friendly And have a customer friendly.attitude so ppl.would like to.come back and eat here I thought about tryin this place but im.second guessing now!

Being my first time there for dinner I was mildly disappointed. I require gluten and dairy sensitivity meals and too much on the menu was breaded or had gravy or came on bread. Then I was surprised because the liver and onions arrived with gravy on it but the menu failed to mention gravy. The side dishes were quite good and after the gravy issue was remedied the food was quite good.This is a small mom and pop place and their food and service are quite good but some menu accomodations could be added or a separate menu with limited choices. I realize that is a bit more expensive but those of us with food sensitivities would really appreciate a few choices that don't need to be changed in order to eat. I will go again and maybe chat with whomever to discuss possibilities.If you don't have food restrictions this is a terrific place to eat at very reasonable prices.

My husband and I were looking for a small but great place to eat. This was the best, I had the ravioli with meatballs recommended by our waiter and my hubby had the country fried steak, OMG the food was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, excellent service, very friendly staff and amazing food!!! A+++ highly recommended!!!

It's a nice mom and pop restaurant that has home cook meals at a decent price. And the staff is always friendly!

I went there today for the 1st time ever. (By word of mouth) and I ordered the pizza (1 large 1 topping 6.99) and it came out to 7.44 which is awesome cuz I had exactly 7.50 on my account and my 2 yr old had been begging me for pizza 🍕 for the longest. Anyways when he swipes my card it was declined because the charge a .28 cents for using card. I was so sad 😭 and when I went to walk away, the gentlemen who worked there told me to take it he would pay for it. I almost cried. I told him to pass my card for 7.59 and I’ll find the cash in my car but he said no ma’am it’s on me. Thank you so much, you have a kind heart and I’m so grateful. May God bless you and this business. I loved the pizza 🍕 my daughter ate TWO slices (she’s only two years old) and I will be a returning customer (this time with enough money on my card) lol. Thank you guys so much!

Comfort food served here. Nothing fancy but good, basic meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very nice service staff.

Have had many good dishes from a great breakfast to an awesome dinner. Jayne runs a tight ship with a small but very pleasant staff. R. Place would get an 8 out of 10.

The service is always fast, the food prepared to your liking and always great.

Food wasn't bad. Service was slow and they had signs inside advertising meals that we ordered and were then told it ended 7/31 so that price no longer valid. Also because we paid with a credit card we were charged a service fee.

One word: good. Nothing more, nothing less. Reasonable prices. May or may not return someday, we shall see.

The epitome of a hometown eatery! Same smiling faces, same food, year after year. This place generally brings in an older crowd but is cozy nonetheless. Great comfort food and reasonable prices, you won't find a better diner in the area.

Food is always great, great lunch pizza buffet and nightly specials.
